Be careful with this umbrella. It did not hold up well in wind of ~25 mph gusts. The internal plastic parts in the folding mechanism were destroy in a gust and it would not lock into the up right position after that incident.

My husband and I were very impressed with the quality of this umbrella and an unexpected feature. The bottom stack has a metal bar that hangs from a chain, and a hole is drilled completely through the stack. After inserting the metal bar through the hole, you can place both hands on either side of the bar and leaning over the bottom stack, easily screw the stack into the sand using your body weight. We appreciated this feature as it allows us to confidently secure the umbrella. We live on the coast of Florida and use this almost every weekend on our beach outings, and have seen plenty of umbrellas rolling down the beach because they weren't secured properly. The umbrella has withstood high winds, scorching sun, salt spray, and it still looks as new as the first day we used it. Don't hesitate to purchase this umbrella, you won't be disappointed.
