Had purchased an umbrella for the beach 2 years ago with the aluminum pole. The 1st day on the beach when the wind picked up it completely bent the pole on that umbrella and it hasn't been used since it is not repairable by us or by anyone that we know that could fix it. The new umbrella I just purchased is sturdy enough to withstand any wind that we may encounter on our visits to the beach.
