Sun Protection Factor
Beach umbrellas are rated by the SPF, or Sun Protection Factor. Our beach umbrellas range from an SPF of 50 to 100 or more. The higher the number, the better your beach umbrella will protect you from harmful UV radiation.
Shade
With
typical diameters of six feet, beach umbrellas are large. Also, they often have a hinged near the top of the pole, allowing them to tilt for maximum shade. The pointed end makes staking
your beach umbrella easy.
Colors and styles
Fabric in beach umbrella canopies is made from durable polyester. Specially treated to withstand exposure from the sun and elements, it will last through many seasons. Striped or solid, all beach umbrellas serve a common purpose: protect you from getting too much sun.
Some beach umbrellas come in unique styles. Thatched beach umbrellas create an inviting Polynesian accent. These breathable umbrellas are mildly water resistant and can withstand breezy beach locales. You may also find a great beach umbrella shaped like a flower or leaf. The designs are limitless.
Portability
Portable beach umbrellas are lightweight and easy to take to the beach. The canopy is large, but collapsing the umbrella lets it fit easily into your vehicle. When the summer ends, it will fit nicely into your storage space, waiting for the sun's return.
