The Ostrich Folding Chaise Lounge is designed to be perfectly accommodating no matter which side you lie on. When you lie on your back, you'll appreciate the 5-position adjustable backrest that will keep you comfortable no matter what you're doing. There's even a head pillow for extra support. When it's time to switch to your tummy, simply lower the backrest, flip up the head pillow and lie down. Built-in cavities leave your face and arms free to move, read a book, and just be more comfortable in general. This chaise is constructed of anodized steel and heavy-duty polyester. The polyester is breathable and dries quickly. Fold the chaise up flat for easy storage. It also features a carry strap for easy transport. Full 72-inch length.

These unique chairs are stylish and sturdy. They are lightweight enough to take to the beach. We use them on our back patio as well as at the beach. The holes for face and arms while lying on your stomach are ingenious. We bought two and are very happy with them.

Flimsy Construction

A hole developed in the chair next to the piping near the top of the chair after two uses. I am not a heavy person (130 lbs.). I am attaching a picture.

    We got two chairs 6 months ago, we used about 8 times.I noticed last week that both of them are starting to rip apart. My husband weights 165 and I weight 125. So since we are not fat it means this chair is no good.

      Well done, love the idea and it works very well. I love to read and this solves the problem of laying face down and trying to read. I saw this chaise on the beach last summer and after searching found it on Hayneedle and have been enjoying ever since. Now my biggest problem is keeping my daughter off of it...might have to buy another. Thanks Hayneedle.

      I bought 3 of these in the early spring to use by pool and take to the beach on vacation. Very confortable...
      love all the positions it offers. BUT...when left out in weather and to get wet or exposed to moisture, the frame will rust and when picked up to be moved or stored, some nasty water/liquid pours out of the frame, YUCK!!! And it stain the material and plastic arm rest. Would not purchase .... I paid way too much for them.

              Q1: Is the bottom part of the chair always elevated? Or are you able to put it down for your legs?

              A: This particular beach chair (Item # DLT002) does NOT allow you to adjust the lower (leg) portion. (It only allows three upper-chair positions.)  However, the next model up – (Item # DLT002) - DOES allow the leg portion to give you “three footrest positions” along with “five adjustable chair positions.”
