Very sturdy construction but just not a comfortable lounger, except for face down, and then it really shines with the proper supporting pads. I mostly prefer to lie on my back and I just could not get comfortable using the head rest pad and other support. Yes, I read the manual that came with it on the pad use. Problem is the gap between the base and the back - there is no way to truely support with that gap - large pad just falls between the gap when I tried. I felt cramped on it as I though it was due to my height (5' 11") but wife and son agreed it was not comfortable lying on the back (she is 5' 2", he 5' 9"). Also thought sand would be an issue for the pads that attach so I returned mine before taking it out of the house. Sometimes the tried and true beach chairs are best, especially at this price. I really wanted this to work.

As a n avid beach goer, I get tired of constantly purchasing chairs year after year because they don't hold up to the environment....salt water! Well, I can honestly say that the Ergo Lounger RS is what I have been looking for.
It was easy to construct, easy on the eyes and not heavy or bulky to carry. Once at the beach, it was easy as 1, 2, 3 to set up...then voila!!! RELAXATION!
I don't think I can express the gratitude in my purchase...it's a wonderful addition to my regular beach routine.

I bought 2 for my pool and everyone that uses them love the comfort! I love that I can sun my back and text at the same time!
