I normally do not bother to send in a review of products I have purchased but this time I felt the retailer and manufacturer both deserved a pat on the back. I ordered these chairs THE DAY BEFORE leaving for a last minute vacation to Sanibel & Captiva Islands. Not only did the chairs arrive on time (In one day? How did they do that?) but Hayneedle ALSO matched a competitors price AND shipped the chairs to me for free!! UNBELIEVEABLE! GREAT customer service as well. These RIO chairs are attractive & very well constructed. I know this because we pretty much sat in them on the beach- drink in hand with chairs half in the water for a an entire week (for research purposes naturally). Anyhow, the chairs came home looking as new as they did on day one. The finger guards are nice on these RIO chairs. Not all competitors have that feature. The chairs were easy to fold flat, light and easy to carry with the shoulder strap, they are sturdy, did not tip when reclined, and all of the frame tubing had caps on the ends so that the sand did not come home with us. I am a budget conscious shopper but I highly value quality. These chairs were well worth the money and I know we will get many years enjoymenmt out of them. Thank you Hayneedle for getting them to us so quickly! We had a great time!

Just three days in at the beach, roughly 24 hours of use, and one chair broke at the arm rest. I am 6'3" and 182 lbs so weight was not a factor! The wood split!!!! Trip [@] to get Gorilla glue and a clamp to salvage the remaining 4 days of our beach vacation!!!!!
