Ordered these chairs in April for beach trip in July. First time taken to beach to use - realized the cheap plastic hinge was broken on one chair and blue insert for arm was missing and plastic on arm had signs of stress (white marks). Attempted to use broken one for laying down - but had to be careful not to be pinched by loose metal piece. Other chair would not hold a locked position. We'd be sitting in the chair relaxing and all of a sudden we'd hear a crack and the back would fall back. The chair is supposed to hold >300 lbs so I would expect a 150 lb person to be able to use it with no problems. My 'great' beach chairs were the joke of the family beach trip. We left them at the beach - they weren't worth taking up room in the car to come back home.

I love these chairs!!!! I have bought dozens of Rio's over the years but this chair is above and beyond. My guy is a big guy and this chair is perfect not only for the steel frame but the width. I am small and I love the comfort of the chair, no side frame diggning into me and the fact that I can lay on my belly and read through the peep hole and put my arms through the convenient arms inserts, and the best no bar digging into my thighs because the bar is inverted. Plus it was on sale. The best!!!!

Lying on stomach for extended period did hurt my legs (I'm 5'10"). Otherwise, comfortable and easy to carry. Mine arrived in good shape (saw several reviews with damaged product, so was a bit concerned). I think the price is a bit high.
