We bought these chairs to use at the beach. We chose them because the manufacturer had been in business for a long time and they manufacture in the USA. So far the experience has been disappointing. [...] While we liked the look of them, we're now skeptical of quality. Unfortunately the loose armrest was not repairable and both chairs had to be packed up and shipped back. We were looking for a simple, well made, reclining beach chair. This fit the bill perfectly. Love the large wood armrests with cup holders in both sides! We used these at the beach right away and found that we spent more time, simply because we were more comfortable. The only downside I can think of is that they don't fold super flat (because of the towel bar on back), so a bit tricky to get in a classic trunk with all the other gear. Fits in my CRV fine though.
