The new Weber Q Gas Grill pairs a high performance cooking system and easy-grip handles to form a powerful yet portable gas grill. It's a powerful grill, with 12,000 BTUs and a cooking surface area of 280 sq. inches. The Weber Q Gas Grill has push-button ignition for easy, reliable lighting, an infinitely adjustable burner valve with a high-quality regulator, two durable tuck-away work tables with built-in tool holders (tools sold separately) which conveniently fold and store inside the grill, sturdy glass-reinforced nylon grill frame, cast aluminum lid and body, a large heat-resistant lid handle, a porcelain enameled cast iron cooking grate, and operates on a standard 14.1 ounce propane cylinder (sold separately). Includes Weber Q Cards - a card deck of recipes, color photographs, and grilling how-to's designed especially for the Weber Q. Limited 5 year warranty.

    Overall, great product. Large cooking area big enough for medium sized gatherings. Good heat. The only downside is you have to adjust the gas correctly to light the fire. If you set the gas to the Start/Light position, the grill will not light. This setting actually allows too much gas to flow and you can't light the grill at this setting. You need to back it off to the point where you just start to hear the gas flowing and you will be able to light it. I did not buy the tank adapter and have been using the disposable tanks. I will purchase the tank adapter and hook it up to a small 5 lb propane tank. I am using this with the rolling cart. Really hard to fold/unfold the cart with the grill attached. The lid keeps popping open and the grates fall out. Need to add a bungee cord to keep the lid closed. For [$], Weber should include some sort of strap to keep the lid closed like the strap on the back of the grill that comes with the cart.

      We have a small travel trailer and it fits
      perfectly into the storage compartment. It is
      easy to use, and when it cools I just clean and
      stow back in the compartment until the next time.

        I was disappointed to find it was only compatible with non refillable tanks that are [$] a tank. It would cost me over $100 to outfit it for a small propane tank. It was advertised as having a temp gauge which it does not have. Otherwise it heats up quickly and cooks food nicely. I have not used it portable yet but imagine if you have the cargo room to pack it, it would be great to take camping.
